Description
The Gamakatsu Octopus Circle hook has a special circular hook point and an extra wide hook bend. The large hook bend ensures that more meat is caught when setting the hook. This minimizes the loss of fish by tearing out the mouth. In addition, the special circular point ensures that the hook set almost always takes place at the corner of the mouth. This ensures that the hook is firmly attached and is also much easier to unhook than with a traditional hook.
The eye of the hook is also curved and this ensures that the hook tilts when striking and the hook point drills directly into the mouth of the fish for a good hook set. This hook is known to lose a lot less fish and you are much less likely to get stuck behind rocks.
